Feel The Vibrations
Hailing from the heart of Philly, Muzikaldunk (MD) is a one-woman powerhouse redefining what it means to be a modern-day, all encompassing musician. With over two decades of experience as a music producer, professional drummer, founding member of the alternative rock/jazz band MOBBLUZ, and A/V technician, MD has graced stages across the globe and supported some of the biggest names in music and events. Drumming internationally alongside the legendary Ingrid Arthur and Gospel Voices of America, as well as her breakout drumming roles in theatrical productions like Macbeth in Stride, have solidified her as a dynamic force in live music and theater. Behind the scenes, her expertise in A/V tech has forged connections with major brands like Spotify and The Hilton, where she’s elevated live sound production and event experiences.
As a proud member of the punk rock band JJX and an honorary member of the iconic Black punk band Pure Hell, MD continues to push boundaries in alternative jazz, rock, and punk music. Stepping into Pure Hell’s legacy with fierce energy and profound respect, she represents women drummers in spaces that have long lacked their presence. With MOBBLUZ, she’s created a space for genre-defying artistry, blending jazz and rock into a bold, unique sound. Her creativity spans across mediums, with her instrumental work appearing in an upcoming anime and her sights set on placing her music in film and TV. Whether it’s her heart-thumping live sets, cutting-edge tech skills, or leadership as an educator and mentor, MD’s passion for her craft is unmatched. She’s a force both on and off the stage, blending innovation with artistry in everything she touches.
Beyond the stage and studio, MD is a trailblazer for community and culture. She’s the founder of a creative haven in Southwest Philly, a space where aspiring musicians and techs alike can hone their skills, collaborate, and grow. Her commitment to empowering youth and women of color extends far beyond the drum kit and mixing board, as she uses her platform to advocate for diversity and representation in both music and tech. From curating music events to mentoring rising stars, MD’s mission is to create opportunities for others to shine. Her work is a celebration of resilience, artistry, and joy, proving to young women everywhere—especially those who look like her—that they, too, can drum, innovate, and dominate any stage or soundboard they choose.
